You should work out your heart at least for 20 minutes. The best is an hour because it gets your heart to beat faster. It is important to work out your heart because it makes you become healthy and pumps more blood. Cardio can decrease stress, keep your brain younger, makes you a better thinker and can ease depression.
Some activities you can do is step aerobics. This can burn 375 calories in one hour at a pace, 600 calories at a high intensity. Running is another, you can burn 600 calories running for one hour at a least 5.2mph. Biking can burn 500- 1000 calories burned depending at your speed. Swimming can burn 800 calories in an hour. All of these activities are fun to do. They are fun and help your heart exercise.
To help myself live a healthier life, I will join a sport that will help my heart work. This helps your blood circulate faster and increases your energy. In the summer, I will join cheerleading because that is also a activity that helps because you dance, tumble, jump, and do different stunts. I would choose this because I love to cheer. Instead of not doing anything in the summer this is what I would do.
